We Are Officially Closer To This Christmas Than Last!
My girlfriend would argue it's never to early to talk about Christmas! She loves Christmas!
In the hospitality industry it's never too early to think about Christmas. I've been thinking about Christmas 2017 since the 1st January!
As they say, no rest for the wicked! I know many hotels and venues have been thinking about how to make this years Christmas festivities even better than last years since before last Christmas.
I suppose you're probably wondering why you should be thinking about Christmas, I mean it is only July for goodness sake! The sun should be beaming down on you as you read this, sipping a lovely cocktail.
Or, maybe you're just in an office longing for that clock to strike 5pm so you can enjoy the evening sun. Whatever you're doing, I hope the sun is shining.
However, just because the sun is shining now doesn't mean you shouldn't be thinking about your parties during those colder, snowier months! Trust me when I say, you won't be the only ones.
I have already taken more bookings than usual for December and I wanted to write this to hopefully allow others to get in there early enough to ensure availability, not just for me but for anyone you may wish to use.
I know that many of the venues I work with are already pretty full over the Christmas period. You may well be thinking you've got loads of time, or the venue you use usually has free dates until September. While that may be true in the past, I don't usually have as full a December at this time of year as I do this year.
It seems like people are thinking about Christmas parties a little more in advance this year. Make sure you jump on that bandwagon now before it's too late.
I could go on about how great a magician is at a Christmas party but that's not in the spirit of this blog. If you do want to find out more about how a magician can work at a Christmas party then please feel free to follow the link below to find out more!
That's pretty much for this week. Short and sweet. I don't want you to miss out on having the best possible Christmas suppliers because they were already booked up!
All the best,
