A Brief History of A Wedding Entertainer
How It All Started
I never thought I’d become a wedding entertainer. I received my first magic set aged 5 and a life long fascination began. Whilst at school I would be part of any performance I could, be it a school play, musical or external company, I was there! I even had the pleasure of performing in a tour of “Huis Clos” across America.
Once I left school I knew I wanted to entertain people (that’s my passion), and magic was the perfect way to do that. Having said that, I never intended to be a wedding entertainer! However, once I had done two or three I knew that was where I wanted to be. Because there is such a special atmosphere at weddings, I just knew I wanted to add to that. So I specialised in wedding entertainment and that brings us to today.
I have also had the honour of appearing on a TEDx stage. I have to say, that was one of those goals I never thought would happen.
And My Personal Life
In my personal life I love old movies (I’m a big fan of the MGM Golden age of cinema). If I’m not watching a film I’m probably doing quizzes or puzzles, I especially love an escape room (yet to be locked in one!). I also play the piano and I am a bit of cricket nut (opening swing bowler if you were interested).
That’s pretty much all there is to me. I just love entertaining. It’s been my passion since I was 5 years old and now I get to do it all over the world. I consider myself very fortunate to be asked to be part of people’s wedding days. It would genuinely mean the world to me if I could become part of yours too.
